    Challenge

    HoC was tasked with helping World Wide Generation (WWG), a sustainability reporting fintech company, break through the noise at the first COP event in Dubai, COP28, to make a strong entry into the MENA market. The key challenges we faced were a crowded news cycle and the novelty of WWG’s innovative offering in the UAE.

    Solution

    • HoC crafted a targeted communications strategy, securing on-ground interviews at COP28 and placing op-eds and Q&As in top business and trade publications for WWG’s female CEO, Manjula Lee. ​
    • We also drafted and distributed a news announcement that emphasised WWG’s MENA expansion and key partnerships, while educating the media and public about their groundbreaking technology through thought leadership.

    Impact

    HoC’s strategic approach resulted in targeted media coverage, effectively positioning WWG as a key player in the MENA region’s sustainability and technology sectors, despite the intense competition for attention at COP28.
