    Challenge

    House of Comms was handpicked to bring one of Dubai's most top secret and anticipated global announcements to light in April and June 2022: the debut and star revelation of the MICHELIN Guide Dubai!

    Solution

    • Following weeks of keeping tightlipped and coming up with the strategic approach for two VIP media and influencer events, HOC worked closely with the senior Michelin Guide International and Dubai Tourism teams to launch both pieces of news 'with a bang’.​
    • We set out with curating and securing a bespoke guestlist of top tier English and Arabic traditional, digital and broadcast media as well as key food critics and writers, to ensure a successful and much talked about launch followed by a grand star revelation event. ​
    • We handled both the events from beginning to end, including securing 23 interviews between tier A publications and broadcast channels with Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of The MICHELIN Guide. 

    Impact

    We secured over 60 media and food influencer attendees for the announcement event and over 130 top tier media and influencers for the star revelation event. We also landed handling the debut announcement and star revelation for the MICHELIN Guide’s next regional launch, Abu Dhabi. ​
